Air India Express Expands Network with Two New Routes to Saudi Arabia.

Air India Express, the low-cost carrier owned by the Tata Group, is set to expand its international network with the addition of two new non-stop routes to Saudi Arabia. Starting January 1, 2025, the airline will operate flights between Bengaluru (BLR) and Dammam (DMM), followed by a new route between Tiruchirappalli (TRZ) and Dammam, which will commence on January 2, 2025.

The introduction of these services reflects Air India Express’s commitment to catering to the growing demand for direct connectivity between India and Saudi Arabia, particularly to serve the significant Indian expatriate community in the Gulf region. With a large number of Indian nationals residing and working in Saudi Arabia, the new routes are expected to provide added convenience for both business and leisure travelers.

The launch of these non-stop flights will offer passengers a more efficient and time-saving travel option, as they will no longer need to take connecting flights through other airports. The new services will also contribute to strengthening the bilateral ties between India and Saudi Arabia, offering more flexibility for those traveling for work, tourism, or family visits.

Air India Express has been steadily expanding its network in recent years, and these new routes are part of its strategy to enhance its presence in the Middle East, an important region for the airline. With the increased demand for air travel between India and the Gulf, the addition of Bengaluru and Tiruchirappalli to Dammam will make Air India Express an even more attractive option for passengers looking for affordable and reliable air travel options.

As the airline continues to grow its international footprint, these new services are poised to offer seamless travel experiences for passengers while supporting the ongoing demand for air travel between India and Saudi Arabia.
