Air India Resumes Jeddah, Muscat Flights; Special UAE Services.

Air India and its subsidiary Air India Express have resumed scheduled flights between India and Muscat and Jeddah. Multiple routes including Mumbai–Muscat, Delhi–Muscat, Kochi–Muscat and Kozhikode–Muscat are planned to operate on 5 and 6 March.

Flights between India and Jeddah have also restarted, with services from Delhi and Mumbai operating as part of the scheduled plan. The move comes after aviation authorities confirmed that the airspace over Saudi Arabia and Oman remains open and safe for flight operations.

However, due to ongoing airspace restrictions in several other parts of West Asia, Air India Group has extended the suspension of scheduled operations to other regional destinations until 10 March 2026.

To support stranded travellers, both airlines will operate additional special flights to destinations including Dubai, Muscat and Ras Al Khaimah on 5 and 6 March. Priority will be given to passengers already holding bookings, while travellers with tickets issued until 4 March can rebook their journeys to India within one month without extra charges.
