Bell Textron Canada Marks Milestone with 6,000th Helicopter Delivery

Bell Textron Canada, part of Textron Inc., has proudly built its 6,000th helicopter at its Mirabel facility – and that’s something worth celebrating!

This special helicopter is one of two SUBARU Bell 412EPX aircraft handed over to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility for use by Sûreté du Québec (Quebec’s provincial police). These helicopters will support critical missions like search and rescue, flood evacuations, and tactical operations.

Why it matters?

  • Bell has been building helicopters in Quebec for nearly 40 years.
  • These aircraft play a key role in public safety.
  • Over 116 missions were flown just last year by the police force using Bell helicopters.

What Bell says:
“This 6,000th delivery shows our strong connection to Quebec and our commitment to building helicopters that can handle the toughest jobs,” said Michael Nault, General Manager of Bell Textron Canada.

Employees, officials, and local leaders joined the celebration, marking a major moment not just for Bell – but for Canada’s aviation industry.

Fun Fact: Bell Textron is the only helicopter manufacturer in Canada, and it’s flying high with this achievement!
