Boeing Secures Up to 40 Dreamliner Order from Sun PhuQuoc Airways.

Leaders of Sun Group and Sun PhuQuoc Airways joined Boeing at a ceremony in Washington, D.C. today to announce an order for up to 40 787 Dreamliner jets, which will serve as the backbone of the airline's widebody fleet. Boeing has signed a major deal with Vietnam’s new carrier Sun PhuQuoc Airways for up to 40 787 Dreamliner aircraft. The widebody jets will form the core of the airline’s long-haul fleet, supporting international connectivity to its hub at Phu Quoc.

Boeing will supply up to 40 Sun PhuQuoc Airways 787 Dreamliner jets for future expansion.

The fuel-efficient 787-9 will enable the airline to launch long-range international routes.
