DGCA, GSV Partner to Boost Aviation Talent.

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation has signed an MoU with Gati Shakti Vishwavidyalaya to strengthen aviation talent development across India. The initiative aims to create a skilled workforce to support the country’s rapidly expanding aviation sector.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw highlighted that the collaboration will help address the growing demand for trained professionals, including pilots, engineers, and maintenance personnel. The focus will be on industry-relevant education and certification.

The partnership will also support formal training for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs), enabling them to meet global standards and improve career opportunities. This move is expected to enhance technical expertise within the aviation ecosystem.

With India witnessing strong growth in air travel and infrastructure, the MoU is seen as a key step toward bridging skill gaps and building a future-ready aviation workforce.
