Dubai has long been a favored destination for Indian travelers, offering a blend of luxury, culture, and world-class attractions. To further enhance its relationship with Indian visitors, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has introduced new visa policies aimed at simplifying travel and encouraging greater engagement between the two nations.
Under the new rules, Indian passport holders now have two flexible visa options for traveling to Dubai. The first option is a visa-on-arrival, which is valid for 14 days and can be extended for an additional 14 days. This option provides convenience for short trips and spontaneous visits. To qualify, travelers must ensure their Indian passports are valid for at least six months from the date of their arrival in Dubai.
The second option is a non-extendable visa with a validity of 60 days, catering to visitors planning longer stays. This type of visa allows for more extended exploration of Dubai’s vibrant offerings, from its iconic landmarks like the Burj Khalifa and Palm Jumeirah to its bustling markets and luxurious resorts. Visa application charges will follow UAE regulations.
In a major boost to bilateral ties, Dubai has also introduced a five-year multiple-entry visa for Indian citizens holding valid passports. This initiative is designed to facilitate repeated visits, whether for tourism, business, or family engagements, fostering deeper connections between the two regions. The five-year visa is expected to contribute significantly to the UAE’s tourism, commercial, and economic sectors by encouraging more frequent travel.
These updated visa policies underscore Dubai’s commitment to strengthening its relationship with India, a key partner in the region. By offering flexible and traveler-friendly options, Dubai is poised to attract even more Indian visitors, further cementing its status as one of the most popular international destinations for Indian travelers.
