Dynamatic Technologies Partners Aequs for Airbus A220 Door Components.

Dynamatic Technologies Limited has announced a strategic mandate for Aequs, a diversified manufacturing company, to supply complex components for Airbus A220 doors. The agreement, formalized as a five-year contract, emphasizes the collaboration between the two firms and the expanding role of Indian manufacturing in the global aerospace supply chain.

Under this contract, Aequs will produce and deliver over 200 intricate parts that require advanced capabilities such as complex tool design, forging, precision machining, and surface treatment. The end-to-end manufacturing expertise of Aequs will play a critical role in meeting the stringent requirements of the aerospace industry. Dynamatic Technologies noted that this collaboration not only reinforces their partnership but also underscores their shared commitment to excellence in aerospace manufacturing.

This development comes on the heels of Dynamatic Technologies being awarded a prestigious contract by Airbus earlier this year to manufacture all the doors for the A220 narrowbody aircraft. The agreement marked a significant milestone, positioning the Bengaluru-based company as a key player in Airbus’s global supply network. The scope of the Airbus contract includes the production of detailed parts and components, creating substantial downstream opportunities for other Indian suppliers, further boosting the country’s aerospace ecosystem.

Dynamatic Technologies has built a strong reputation for designing and manufacturing high-precision, engineered products across diverse sectors, including aerospace, hydraulics, metallurgy, and security. This latest collaboration with Aequs highlights the company’s strategic approach to leveraging domestic manufacturing capabilities to fulfill global contracts, fostering innovation, and contributing to the growth of India’s aerospace industry.
