IndiGo Delhi–Manchester Flight Turns Back Mid-Air.

An international flight operated by IndiGo from Delhi to Manchester was forced to make a mid-air turnaround after reaching the region near the Ethiopia–Eritrea border. Flight 6E33, which was being operated by Norse Atlantic Airways, reversed its course and started heading back toward Delhi.

According to flight-tracking data, the aircraft had already spent several hours in the air and was progressing toward Europe before the crew decided to return. The exact reason for the sudden U-turn has not yet been officially confirmed by the airline.

The flight was notable as it marked the first IndiGo service between Delhi and Manchester since February 26. The route is part of IndiGo’s growing long-haul operations, which are being supported through leased wide-body aircraft from Norse Atlantic Airways.

Passengers on board were expected to arrive back in Delhi after the aircraft completed its return journey. Further details regarding the cause of the turnaround and arrangements for affected travelers are likely to be shared by the airline soon.
