IndiGo Launches Direct Pune-Prayagraj Flight for Maha Kumbh 2025.

IndiGo is set to launch a direct flight from Pune to Prayagraj starting February 16, in response to the increased travel demand for the Maha Kumbh Mela. This move comes as thousands of pilgrims from Pune and surrounding regions prepare to attend the religious event, and the airline aims to offer more convenient travel options for the devotees.

The new service will operate six days a week, running Monday through Friday, and also on Sunday, with the flight not operating on Saturdays. Flight 6E 2062 will depart from Prayagraj at 11:10 AM, arriving in Pune at 1:10 PM. In the return direction, Flight 6E 2065 will take off from Pune at 2:00 PM and reach Prayagraj at 4:10 PM.

These flights are expected to be operational until the conclusion of the Maha Kumbh Mela, which is one of the largest religious gatherings in the world. While IndiGo has not officially revealed the fare details, online booking platforms suggest that ticket prices start at over Rs 20,000.

By offering direct flights to Prayagraj, IndiGo aims to meet the growing travel demand and provide pilgrims with a convenient, time-efficient way to travel to the event. This initiative is part of IndiGo’s strategy to expand its regional and festival-related offerings, further strengthening its presence in the Indian aviation market.
