Noida Airport Delays April 2025 Launch Due to Terminal Construction Setback.

Noida International Airport (DXN) in Jewar may miss its scheduled launch in April 2025 due to delays in the construction of its passenger terminal. While progress on the cargo terminal remains on schedule, with plans for completion by the end of April, the construction of the passenger terminal has experienced setbacks, potentially delaying the airport’s passenger operations.

The delay comes as a significant development for the ambitious airport project, which aims to boost air traffic and economic growth in the Delhi-NCR region. The cargo terminal, a critical component of the airport’s infrastructure, is set to open on time, marking a positive milestone for logistics operations. However, the construction delay of the passenger terminal is a setback for the broader goal of providing commercial passenger services by April 2025.

Airport authorities have stated that they are working to resolve the issues and expedite the completion of the passenger terminal, though the exact timeline for its opening remains uncertain. The delay in the terminal’s construction could push back the official inauguration of passenger flights, potentially affecting air travel plans for the region.

Once fully operational, Noida International Airport is expected to become a major hub for passenger and cargo flights, alleviating pressure on Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport and promoting regional growth.
