S-400 Threat Pushes PAF To Review EW Plans.

The growing threat posed by the long-range S-400 Triumf is reportedly pushing the Pakistan Air Force to reassess its electronic warfare strategy. Military analysts suggest the advanced air-defense system’s reach and tracking capability are forcing regional air forces to rethink survivability and countermeasure plans.

As part of this evaluation, attention has turned toward the potential use of the HAVASOJ electronic warfare system. The system is designed to jam enemy radars and disrupt long-range air-defense networks, helping aircraft operate safely in contested airspace.

Defence experts believe that integrating stand-off electronic warfare capabilities could help counter sophisticated surface-to-air missile systems. Such technologies allow aircraft to launch electronic attacks from safer distances while reducing exposure to high-risk air-defense environments.

The reassessment reflects how modern air forces are adapting to increasingly advanced air-defense systems worldwide. As long-range missile shields become more capable, electronic warfare platforms are expected to play a crucial role in maintaining operational flexibility and mission success.
