Air India has announced the addition of 36 extra flights to Europe and Canada between March 19 and 28, 2026, responding to a surge in international travel demand amid ongoing disruptions in the West Asia region.
The additional services will cover major long-haul routes including Delhi–London Heathrow, Mumbai–London Heathrow, Delhi–Frankfurt, Delhi–Zurich, and Delhi–Toronto. With this move, the airline will add over 10,000 seats across these sectors, offering greater flexibility and improved connectivity to passengers facing limited travel options.
The expansion comes shortly after Air India operated 78 additional flights between March 10 and 18 on nine international routes, highlighting the airline’s continued efforts to manage high passenger demand and maintain smooth travel operations during a challenging period for global aviation.
Air India stated that these flights are being progressively opened for bookings across all channels. Passengers are encouraged to check updated schedules and secure.
