Qatar Airways has officially resumed double-daily passenger flights to Abu Dhabi, further strengthening its presence in the United Arab Emirates alongside its existing services to Dubai and Sharjah. The announcement was made by the airline on Wednesday as part of its ongoing regional network expansion.
The return of Abu Dhabi operations marks another step in Qatar Airways’ efforts to restore and enhance connectivity across the Middle East and international markets. The airline has recently restarted services to multiple destinations, including cities in Iraq, Bahrain, Damascus, and Kozhikode, reflecting increasing travel demand across the region.
Qatar Airways stated that the additional Abu Dhabi flights will improve travel flexibility and provide smoother connections for passengers through its global network via Doha’s Hamad International Airport. The carrier continues to focus on rebuilding routes and increasing frequencies following recent operational adjustments across several markets.
