ATR Aircraft has delivered the world’s first ATR 72-600 featuring the new HighLine “All-Business Class” cabin configuration. The aircraft recently arrived in Kuala Lumpur, marking a major milestone for regional aviation and premium turboprop travel.
The innovative cabin concept received certification earlier this month from both the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Malaysian aviation authorities, clearing the aircraft for commercial operations worldwide. The new HighLine interior is designed to offer passengers an upgraded luxury regional flying experience.
The delivery is also historic for Berjaya Air, as it marks the airline’s first ATR 72-600 aircraft. At the same time, the airline becomes the launch operator for ATR’s latest premium cabin collection aimed at high-end regional services.
Industry observers say the move reflects growing demand for exclusive regional travel experiences, especially on shorter routes where airlines are seeking to combine comfort, efficiency, and premium service offerings.
