The Brazil national football team has begun its journey to the United States aboard a specially configured Boeing 767-300ER as preparations intensify for upcoming international fixtures and the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The aircraft departed from Rio de Janeiro-Galeão International Airport and was honored with a ceremonial water salute before takeoff.

The Boeing 767-300ER, registered ZS-NEX and operated by Aeronexus, is valued at nearly R$1.2 billion and features a premium VIP configuration with just 96 first-class seats. The spacious layout offers enhanced comfort and privacy for players, coaching staff, and team officials during the long-haul journey to the United States.

For the trip, the aircraft was specially branded in partnership with Azul Brazilian Airlines, creating a unique appearance for the national team’s transatlantic flight. The aircraft is scheduled to arrive at Newark Liberty International Airport near New York, where the squad will continue its preparations.

Before departure, players posed for official photographs in front of an Airbus A321 at the airport. However, the actual flight to the United States was operated by the luxurious Boeing 767-300ER. The journey highlights the importance of comfort and logistics as Brazil gears up for future competitions and its quest for success at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
