The Paraguayan Air Force has taken delivery of a Cessna SkyCourier, becoming the first military customer in South America to receive the aircraft.
The acquisition was funded by Itaipu Binacional – Paraguay and is intended to strengthen essential air services across the country, particularly in remote regions where access to transportation and medical facilities can be challenging.
The SkyCourier will support a range of missions, including medical evacuations, patient transportation, disaster relief and community connectivity. Its utility-focused design makes it suitable for operations that require reliable transport to areas with limited infrastructure.
The delivery highlights the growing role of versatile utility aircraft in military and public service operations, helping the Paraguayan Air Force respond to emergencies and provide support to communities across the country.
