All six people on board a helicopter, including the pilot, have reportedly died after the aircraft crashed near Joshimath in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district.
The helicopter, operated by Trans Bharat Aviation, was travelling from Badrinath to Fata when the incident occurred. The crash prompted search and rescue operations in the mountainous region.
Heavy rainfall and poor visibility made the search difficult, prompting authorities to deploy two helicopters to help locate the missing aircraft. Rescue teams later reached the crash site, and officials confirmed that all six occupants had died. The Times of India+1
