Adani Airports Announces ₹20,000 Crore Airport City Plan.

Adani Airport Holdings Limited has announced a major investment plan of more than ₹20,000 crore for the first phase of its integrated airport city projects across India.

The development will combine aviation infrastructure with hospitality, retail, business centres, entertainment zones, and convention facilities, creating new urban districts around airports.

The projects will cover more than 655 acres across six airports — Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Jaipur, and Guwahati — with around 22 million square feet of planned development.

The airport city model aims to transform airports into larger commercial and lifestyle hubs, improving passenger experiences while supporting business growth, tourism, and regional economic development.

The initiative is expected to strengthen India’s aviation ecosystem by creating more connected and modern airport environments beyond traditional terminals.
