Air Canada Moves Crews Amid European Unrest

Air Canada has reportedly relocated flight crews from downtown hotels to accommodation closer to airports in Paris, Nice, Lyon, Nantes and Milan between October 23 and 25, 2026.

The precautionary move aims to protect staff from civil unrest, street demonstrations and possible transport disruptions that could interfere with mandatory crew rest and flight operations.

The Air Line Pilots Association is working with the airline’s security team to monitor the situation. Further hotel relocations may follow if security concerns and transport disruptions continue into November.
