Air India has appointed Sisirakanta Dash as Group Chief Strategy Officer – Engineering.
The appointment will take effect from 1 April as the airline strengthens its engineering and fleet expansion strategy.

Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer, Sisirakanta Dash will take on the new leadership role to guide long-term engineering strategy within the Air India Group.

In his new position, Dash will focus on building key engineering capabilities required to support the airline’s rapidly expanding fleet and operational growth.

He will also work with multiple stakeholders to develop local engineering infrastructure, including ongoing greenfield initiatives such as Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and other technical support ecosystems.

According to Campbell Wilson, the move aims to strengthen engineering partnerships and create a strong foundation to support the airline’s future expansion plans.
