Air India Express Flight Suffers Bird Strike, Lands Safely.

An Air India Express flight travelling from Visakhapatnam to Bengaluru suffered a bird strike on Monday but landed safely at Kempegowda International Airport. All 148 passengers on board remained unharmed, with no injuries reported among passengers or crew.

Following the landing, the aircraft was moved to a parking stand, where ground engineers and technical teams began inspecting it for possible structural or engine damage. The checks were carried out as part of standard aviation safety procedures.

The incident comes just two days after an Emirates flight arriving from Dubai encountered a bird strike at Delhi’s Indira Gandhi International Airport on Saturday. The incident delayed the aircraft’s return journey while inspections and repairs were carried out.

Bird strikes can pose operational challenges for airlines, as impacts may damage engines or other aircraft components. Airlines routinely inspect affected aircraft before returning them to service to ensure safe operations.
