Air India Express Unveils New Uniforms Inspired by Indian Heritage.

Air India Express has unveiled new uniforms for its cabin crew and frontline employees, with the new designs officially rolling out from September 1, 2026.

The collection combines the airline’s signature Xpress Blue and Xpress Orange with design elements inspired by traditional Indian textiles and craftsmanship from five states, including Kanjeevaram, Pattu, Patola, Gamosa and Bagh.

The airline says the new uniforms celebrate India’s diverse cultural heritage while giving its customer-facing teams a modern and distinctive appearance. The rollout covers cabin crew and other frontline employees across the airline’s network.

The new collection forms part of Air India Express’ broader efforts to create a strong, contemporary identity while reflecting the cultural diversity associated with India.
