Air India is gearing up for a busy Northern Summer 2025, as the airline announces plans to increase flight frequencies on key international routes starting March 30. The enhanced schedule aims to boost connectivity and meet growing demand for international travel.

In total, Air India will add three new weekly flights, increasing the frequency from 21 to 24 weekly flights. These services will be operated by a combination of Air India’s state-of-the-art Airbus A350-900 and upgraded Boeing 787-9 aircraft, ensuring passengers enjoy a comfortable and modern flying experience.

Among the notable route changes, Air India will increase flight frequency on the Amritsar-Birmingham route from three times a week to four times weekly. Similarly, the Amritsar-London Gatwick route will also see an increase from three to four flights per week. These adjustments are designed to accommodate the growing demand for travel between India and the UK, especially as more people look to fly internationally for both business and leisure.

The decision to increase frequencies reflects Air India’s commitment to enhancing its international presence and providing more options for passengers. With these changes, the airline is set to offer more convenient travel times and better connectivity, making it easier for people to travel to and from key destinations in the UK.

As the airline continues to expand its global network, these flight frequency increases are just one example of its efforts to position itself as a competitive and efficient player in the international aviation market.
