Air India, India’s premier global airline, has successfully concluded its first-ever pan-India cricket tournament, the Air India Super League 2025, bringing together over 500 participants from 48 leading travel partners across major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Chennai. This landmark event not only highlighted the competitive spirit but also aimed to strengthen the airline’s partnership with key stakeholders in the travel industry.

The Air India Super League 2025 was designed as both a highly anticipated competitive sporting event and a dynamic networking platform for Air India and its travel partners, including Travel Management Companies (TMCs) and Online Travel Agents (OTAs). The tournament created an atmosphere of camaraderie, fostering connections and relationships within the travel sector, while also offering an opportunity for friendly competition.

The tournament began with regional Round Robin matches, where teams from different cities competed fiercely. The winners of each regional match advanced to the National Finale, held in New Delhi. Air India provided travel accommodations for the qualifying teams, ensuring a smooth journey to the capital for the grand finale held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Chanakyapuri, New Delhi.

In a thrilling final, Team Travel High Titans from Travel High Pvt. Ltd. emerged victorious, beating Tripjack Warriors from Tripjack Pvt. Ltd. by 62 runs to claim the inaugural Air India Super League 2025 championship title. The final match was a nail-biter, with both teams showcasing exceptional skill and determination.

To celebrate the achievements of the participants, the tournament featured an array of trophies, medals, and certificates. Special awards were presented in multiple categories, including Man of the Match, Best Fielder, Most Catches in Air India Super League 2025, and the prestigious Player of the Tournament award. The Round Robin Winner trophy was awarded to the top-performing team from each of the four cities. The grand finale was streamed live on YouTube, allowing friends, family, and fans to watch the action unfold from the comfort of their homes.

With the Air India Super League 2025, the airline not only provided a fun and engaging experience for its travel partners but also facilitated networking opportunities that help foster long-term business relationships.

This initiative is part of Air India’s ongoing Vihaan.AI transformation program, a five-year strategy to modernize its fleet and enhance customer experience. As part of this transformation, Air India recently confirmed a purchase of 100 Airbus aircraft, along with an order for 570 new aircraft from both Airbus and Boeing. Furthermore, the airline has embarked on a USD 400 million interior retrofit program for its legacy aircraft to provide an upgraded flying experience to passengers.

The success of the Air India Super League 2025 is a testament to the airline’s commitment to building strong ties with its partners while offering memorable and exciting experiences.
