Air India Trims UAE Flight Operations.

Air India has slightly reduced its operations to the United Arab Emirates, planning a total of 32 scheduled and non-scheduled flights to and from West Asia on Sunday. The move reflects a cautious approach amid evolving operational and regulatory conditions in the region.

Out of the 32 flights, around 12 will be non-scheduled services to the UAE, operated subject to slot availability and necessary approvals from Indian and UAE authorities. The airline noted that these ad hoc flights may vary depending on real-time conditions and airspace coordination.

Key destinations including Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah will continue to be served through a mix of regular and additional services. Air India will operate flights on the Delhi–Dubai route, while its subsidiary Air India Express will handle connections such as Mangalore–Dubai and services linking Indian cities to Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

The adjustment highlights Air India Group’s flexible network strategy, ensuring connectivity while adapting to changing demand and operational factors in the West Asia region.
