AirAsia Philippines Suspends Manila–Bohol Route

AirAsia Philippines (Z2) is set to suspend its direct Manila–Tagbilaran, Bohol service from October 1, 2026, as part of a broader review of its domestic network. The suspension is listed in AirAsia’s official travel advisory.

The decision comes amid the airline’s wider operational and financial restructuring, with AirAsia reviewing its route network and aircraft deployment to improve efficiency and profitability.

The carrier has been adjusting its domestic and international operations, including suspending routes that are considered less commercially viable while focusing aircraft capacity on stronger-demand and higher-yield markets.

For passengers, the suspension means direct AirAsia connectivity between Manila and Bohol will no longer be available from the effective date, unless the airline later announces a change to its plans.
