Airline Strengthens Pilot Training Partnership.

An airline in Nigeria has further strengthened its commitment to pilot development and aviation safety after hosting representatives from Dutch Aviation Trainers (DAT) at its corporate headquarters in Lagos. The meeting focused on expanding training collaboration for pilots operating the airline’s Boeing 737 Next Generation (NG) fleet as part of broader efforts to enhance operational standards across its network.

Dutch Aviation Trainers is a well-known aviation training organisation specialising in Boeing and Embraer aircraft instruction. The company is currently responsible for training the airline’s pilots on Embraer E1 and E2 aircraft, helping crews maintain international operational and safety standards through advanced simulator and technical programmes.

Airline officials stated that the continued partnership reflects a strong investment in safety, operational excellence, and human capital development. By strengthening pilot training capabilities, the airline aims to equip its flight crews with the expertise and technical knowledge needed to deliver safe and efficient flight operations across domestic and international routes.

The collaboration also highlights the growing importance of modern aviation training as airlines worldwide continue investing in advanced simulator programmes and recurrent pilot instruction. Industry experts say partnerships with global training organisations play a key role in improving flight safety, standardisation, and crew performance within rapidly expanding airline networks.
