Akasa Air Welcomes Its 43rd Aircraft.

Akasa Air has taken delivery of its 43rd aircraft, a Boeing 737-8-200 registered as VT-YBT, further expanding the airline’s rapidly growing fleet. The aircraft arrived at Navi Mumbai International Airport (NMIA) on September 2, 2026.

The latest addition comes as Akasa Air continues to strengthen its fleet and expand its domestic and international network. The airline has been using Navi Mumbai International Airport as an important part of its growing operations, with two new Boeing 737 MAX aircraft arriving there within 48 hours.

The delivery of VT-YBT marks another milestone for the young Indian carrier as it continues adding aircraft to support future network expansion and increasing passenger demand.
