The Boeing 777-8F and Airbus A350F are set to become major competitors in the next generation of widebody cargo aircraft. Boeing’s 777-8 Freighter combines 777X technology with a 118-tonne payload, 766.1 m³ of cargo volume and a 5,000-nautical-mile range, targeting long-distance, high-capacity freight operations.
The Airbus A350F brings A350 technology and a new-generation design to the freighter market, offering airlines another option as they modernize aging cargo fleets.
Both aircraft are being developed to provide greater efficiency and long-range capability while supporting the growing global air-freight industry.
