Boeing Targets 777-9, 737 MAX Deliveries 2027.

Boeing is progressing toward certification of the 737 MAX 10 and 737 MAX 7, with initial deliveries expected in 2027. The company also reaffirmed plans to deliver the Boeing 777-9 starting the same year.

In the first quarter of 2026, Boeing delivered 143 commercial aircraft, up from 130 a year earlier. The Boeing 737 MAX family accounted for the majority, with 114 units delivered, reflecting strong demand for single-aisle jets.

Major customers including Delta Air Lines, Aviation Capital Group, and Air India placed significant orders during the quarter, supporting Boeing’s recovery momentum.

The company also confirmed that Lufthansa, based at Frankfurt Airport, is expected to be the launch operator for the 777-9. Boeing reported commercial aircraft revenue of $9.2 billion, marking a 13% year-on-year increase.
