Breeze Airways has completed its transition to an all-Airbus A220 fleet following the retirement of its remaining Embraer E-Jets from passenger operations. The airline now operates 59 Airbus A220s, marking a major milestone in its fleet modernization strategy.
The carrier’s final passenger E-Jet service, MXY310, operated on September 7, 2026, from Orlando to New Orleans. With the retirement of the E-Jets, Breeze will now rely entirely on the A220 for its scheduled passenger operations.
Breeze selected the A220 as the backbone of its fleet because of its efficiency, range and flexibility for both shorter and longer domestic routes. The airline had previously announced plans to move toward an all-A220 commercial fleet.
