Breeze Airways has officially launched its inaugural nonstop service between Atlantic City International Airport and Charleston, marking a major milestone for the airport and regional connectivity.
The new route is the first-ever nonstop service linking Atlantic City directly with Charleston, offering South Jersey travelers more convenient travel options while also boosting tourism and business connections between the two regions. Airport officials, airline representatives, and community leaders gathered at ACY to celebrate the inaugural flight.
Several key figures attended the launch event, including SJTA Board of Commissioners Vice Chair Barbara Holcomb, SJTA Executive Director Stephen F. Dougherty, Visit Atlantic City President and CEO Gary Musich, and Breeze Airways Vice President of Marketing and Communications Angela Vargo. Speakers highlighted the importance of expanding air service and strengthening regional economic growth.
