Cebu Pacific has announced a new wet lease agreement with Vietnam Airlines, deploying one of its Airbus A320neo aircraft to support the Vietnamese flag carrier’s domestic network over the coming months.
Under the agreement, the aircraft will be based in Ho Chi Minh City and operated entirely by Cebu Pacific’s own pilots and cabin crew. The A320neo will serve several key domestic routes, including Ho Chi Minh City–Cam Ranh, Phu Quoc, Vinh, and Da Nang, helping Vietnam Airlines increase capacity and maintain reliable flight schedules during periods of high demand.
The partnership marks another milestone in Cebu Pacific’s growing regional presence and demonstrates the airline’s operational capabilities beyond its own network. By providing both the aircraft and flight crew under a wet lease arrangement, Cebu Pacific is strengthening aviation cooperation within Southeast Asia while supporting Vietnam Airlines’ operational requirements.
The airline said the agreement reflects its continued commitment to delivering safe, efficient, and reliable aviation services across the region, further reinforcing its position as a trusted aviation partner in the Asia-Pacific market.
