Chaos at Mumbai Airport After Flight Cancellations.

Tensions erupted at Terminal 1 of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport after multiple SpiceJet flights were delayed and later cancelled, leaving hundreds of passengers stranded overnight.

The disruption intensified when flight SG 631, delayed for nearly four hours, was ultimately cancelled. Several other flights to Bengaluru, Delhi, and Ahmedabad were also affected, sparking protests from frustrated travellers who had waited for hours without clear updates.

Angry passengers raised slogans inside the terminal, prompting intervention by security personnel from the Central Industrial Security Force to restore order. Many travellers were forced to spend the night at the airport due to limited alternative arrangements.

Airline officials cited technical issues as the cause of the disruptions and assured passengers that efforts were underway to resolve them. While normalcy returned by morning, the incident has raised fresh concerns over airline reliability and passenger support.
