Charter Air Ambulance Crashes In Chatra, One Confirmed Dead.

A medical evacuation flight from Ranchi to Delhi crashed in Chatra district after losing radar contact, leaving one confirmed deceased, Sanjay Kumar (41), a burn patient. Authorities are conducting rescue and investigation operations at the site.

1. Flight Details
The Beechcraft King Air BE9L (VT-AJV) operated by Redbird Airways Private Limited carried seven people, including patient, attendants, medical staff, and pilots.

2. Timeline Of Incident
The aircraft took off at 7:11 pm, went off radar at 7:34 pm, about 100 nautical miles southeast of Varanasi.

3. Victim And Occupants
Deceased: Sanjay Kumar (41, patient). Other passengers: Archana Devi, Dhuru Kumar, Dr Vikas Kumar Gupta, Sachin Kumar Mishra. Pilots: Capt Vivek Vikas Bhagat and Capt Savrajdeep Singh.

4. Rescue Efforts
District administration search and rescue teams reached the crash site; emergency medical support is being provided.

5. Investigation Launched
AAIB has been dispatched to probe the cause of the crash and determine any safety lapses.
