A Delta Air Lines flight at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport faced a delay of more than two hours after passengers noticed that only one baggage handler was loading nearly 100 bags onto the aircraft.
Captain Paul reportedly stepped away from the flight deck and joined the ramp worker, helping load suitcases while still wearing his pilot uniform. A passenger, Michelle Squyars, filmed the moment from inside the cabin and shared it online.
Another ramp worker eventually arrived, allowing the captain to return to the aircraft. He later informed passengers that the flight was expected to depart within around 20 minutes. The aircraft eventually reached its destination at approximately 3 a.m., where multiple ramp agents were ready to unload the bags.
