Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla recently performed the Bhoomi Pujan for the 650-meter long connecting road from Rewa Airport to the Ring Road. This vital infrastructure project, costing Rs 3.5 crore, will be developed into a four-lane road and is expected to significantly improve connectivity in the region.
During the Bhoomi Pujan ceremony, Deputy Chief Minister Shukla emphasized the importance of completing the road construction within the stipulated time frame while maintaining the highest standards of quality. He also urged the inclusion of landscaping along the road, particularly along the dividers, to make the area more visually appealing. Flowers and plants will be planted along the divider to create an attractive and pleasant environment for commuters.
This new road is part of a broader effort to enhance the infrastructure surrounding Rewa Airport and improve regional connectivity. Once completed, the four-lane road will provide smoother and faster access between the airport and the Ring Road, further boosting the region’s economic and logistical development. The addition of landscaping will also help beautify the area, making it not only functional but also more aesthetically pleasing.
Deputy Chief Minister Shukla’s directive to ensure timely and quality completion of the project reflects the government’s commitment to developing robust infrastructure that supports both urban growth and the comfort of local residents. This initiative is expected to play a key role in enhancing connectivity and facilitating easier movement of people and goods, contributing to the overall development of Rewa and its surrounding areas.
