Dubai Airport Flights Disrupted Amid Security Alert.

Flight operations at Dubai International Airport were disrupted late Monday after authorities issued emergency warnings over a possible missile threat, triggering precautionary safety measures across the region.

Departures were temporarily paused, while several inbound flights were placed in holding patterns away from the airport. Air defence systems were reportedly activated, and residents across Dubai received alerts advising them to remain cautious as the situation unfolded.

The disruption comes just days after the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority had lifted earlier flight restrictions, allowing airlines to resume normal schedules. Major carriers including Emirates, flydubai, and Etihad Airways had begun ramping up operations following months of reduced capacity linked to regional tensions.

Flights arriving from key international cities such as London and Seattle were among those affected, with aircraft held airborne as a precaution. Nearby Abu Dhabi International Airport also experienced delays during the incident.

Authorities have not released detailed information regarding the nature of the threat, and the situation remains under close review. Airlines are continuing to monitor developments and adjust schedules as needed to ensure passenger safety.
