EasyJet Unveils 18 New Winter Routes.

As airlines prepare for the 2026/27 winter season, easyJet has announced 18 new and returning routes across its European network, expanding connectivity and introducing both its longest and shortest services. The newly revealed routes are now open for bookings, with additional announcements expected in the coming months.

The airline, one of Europe’s largest carriers by flight volume, will transition to its winter schedule from October 25 in line with global aviation slot changes. Several of the new routes will launch around this date, although industry data suggests that many of these airport pairs are currently unserved, highlighting fresh market opportunities for the low-cost carrier.

Among the key additions are services from Belfast International Airport to Sharm el-Sheikh International Airport, Bordeaux Airport to Agadir–Al Massira Airport, Newcastle Airport to Fuerteventura Airport, and Southampton Airport to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, each operating twice weekly.

Notably, the Belfast–Sharm el-Sheikh route will span approximately 4,408 km, making it one of the longest flights in easyJet’s network. The expansion reflects the airline’s strategy to strengthen its winter sun destinations while tapping into underserved routes across Europe and North Africa.
