Ethiopian Airlines Orders 10 Boeing 777 Freighters.

Boeing and Ethiopian Airlines have announced a new order for 10 widebody freighters, including eight 777-8 Freighters and two additional 777 Freighters. The deal expands Ethiopian’s long-haul cargo fleet and strengthens its partnership with Boeing.

The order also marks Ethiopian Airlines’ second purchase involving the 777X family. The airline previously ordered eight 777-9 passenger aircraft, becoming the first African carrier to select the 777X.

The new freighters are expected to support Ethiopian Airlines’ growing cargo operations and international network, while providing additional capacity for future expansion.
