EVA Air expects to receive its first Airbus A350-1000 in late 2027, marking an important step in the airline’s long-term fleet renewal and international expansion plans. The Taiwanese carrier has 24 A350-1000s on firm order.
The airline is also evaluating new long-haul destinations, including Barcelona, Istanbul and Helsinki in Europe, along with Boston in North America. However, no launch dates or final aircraft assignments have been announced for these routes.
By 2033, EVA Air expects to operate 17 Boeing 787-9s and 17 Boeing 787-10s. The carrier is also considering extending leases on some Boeing 777 aircraft to support its fleet transition and maintain capacity during the expansion.
