Garuda Aerospace Signs Deal for Flexrotor Drones.

Garuda Aerospace has signed an agreement with Airbus Helicopters to acquire up to 18 Flexrotor drones for expanding its global drone operations. The deal marks a significant step in strengthening advanced unmanned aerial capabilities.

The Flexrotor drones are vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) unmanned systems designed for long-endurance missions. These drones can perform surveillance, mapping, and monitoring operations across remote or challenging environments.

According to the companies, the partnership will support Garuda Aerospace’s plan to expand drone services in sectors such as infrastructure inspection, disaster management, and environmental monitoring. The drones will allow operations in areas where traditional aircraft may face limitations.

The agreement also reflects the growing role of advanced unmanned aerial systems in global aviation and technology sectors. With this collaboration, Garuda Aerospace aims to strengthen its international presence while leveraging Airbus’ expertise in autonomous aviation systems.
