A high-level delegation from GE Aerospace, led by Rita Flaherty, visited Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) in Bengaluru to review ongoing collaborations and strengthen strategic ties in aero-engine development.
During the visit, the delegation held detailed discussions with Dr. D K Sunil, Ravi K, and other senior officials. The talks focused on the progress of the GE F404 engine program, which powers India’s indigenous fighter platforms, along with updates on production and supply chain coordination.
Both sides also reviewed ongoing discussions related to the advanced GE F414 engine programme. The project is considered a key step in enhancing India’s defense capabilities, particularly for next-generation fighter aircraft and future indigenous programs.
The visit highlights the deepening partnership between GE Aerospace and HAL, reflecting continued cooperation in technology transfer, engine manufacturing, and long-term support for India’s military aviation sector.
