Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) is set to showcase its growing civil aviation portfolio at Wings India 2026, scheduled from January 28 to 31 at Begumpet Airport, Hyderabad. The highlight of HAL’s participation will be the formal debut of the Super Jet (SJ) 100 regional aircraft, underlining the company’s expanding role in India’s civil aviation ecosystem.
Super Jet 100 Debut:
HAL will formally debut the Super Jet (SJ) 100 regional aircraft, developed in collaboration with Russia’s United Aircraft Corporation, supporting the “Make in India” initiative.
Civil Aviation Portfolio Showcase:
The company will present the SJ-100, H-228 commuter aircraft, Dhruv New Generation (NG) helicopter and LUH Civil platform.
Static Display & Demonstration Flights:
Static displays will include Dhruv NG, H-228, SJ-100 and SJ-100 Aurus business jet, complemented by customer demonstration flights of Dhruv NG and H-228.
Pavilion & Exhibits:
HAL will exhibit at Hall A, Stall No. 27, featuring scaled models of aircraft, amphibian variants, LRUs and civil aviation accessories.
Industry Collaboration & MoUs:
Digital kiosks will showcase components, accessories and MRO capabilities, with HAL planning to sign multiple MoUs with industry partners during the event.
Focus on Regional Connectivity:
HAL said the showcase reinforces its commitment to India’s UDAN scheme, civil utility operations and self-reliance in aviation manufacturing.
