The UAE has honoured the flydubai crew, including Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar, with the First Class Order of Zayed II for their courage during a mid-air incident on September 30.
The prestigious honours were conferred by UAE President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, recognising the crew’s bravery and conduct during the incident.
The ceremony was attended by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
The recognition highlights the crew’s courage and dedication in handling the challenging situation, bringing special recognition to Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar.
