The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has launched nominations for its 2026 Diversity & Inclusion Awards, spotlighting outstanding aviation leaders and role models shaping the future of the industry.
This programme highlights inspirational individuals in categories such as Inspirational Role Model, High Flyer, and Diversity & Inclusion Team, recognising those whose leadership and vision have made a real impact in fostering equality and opportunity across aviation.
Previous recognitions include industry trailblazers like Claudia Zapata‑Cardone, president of Latin Professionals in Aerospace, and other leaders who exemplify excellence, innovation and inclusivity.
Winners will be announced at the IATA AGM & World Air Transport Summit in Rio de Janeiro this June, underscoring the importance of role models and diversity champions in global aviation.
