India Receives Kamikaze Drones Under Fast-Track.

India has received hundreds of kamikaze drones under a fast-track emergency order, boosting its unmanned combat capabilities. The systems were delivered by InsideFPV under a ₹100 million contract completed within just 60 days.

Issued through the Emergency Procurement Route by the Ministry of Defence, the deal highlights the urgency of strengthening operational readiness. The drones are designed for diverse environments, including high-altitude regions, deserts, and mixed terrain conditions.

According to InsideFPV CEO Arth Chowdhary, these systems are engineered to operate in extreme temperatures ranging from -35°C to 50°C, including GPS-denied environments, making them highly adaptable for modern battlefield scenarios.

The move reflects a growing reliance on loitering munitions for precision strikes and reconnaissance. It also aligns with India’s push for indigenous defense manufacturing, as production scales up to meet future demands outlined by the Indian Army.
