Passengers at Bhubaneswar Airport were reportedly left stranded after an IndiGo flight scheduled to depart at 2:35 PM was cancelled around 5:30 PM, several hours after its scheduled departure.
According to passengers, they were not given timely information about the cancellation. Even by around 6 PM, many travellers were reportedly still at the airport, waiting for clear updates and assistance from the airline.
Passengers expressed anger over the delay in communication and alleged that IndiGo staff did not provide adequate information or cooperation during the disruption.
One passenger reportedly said the flight was suddenly cancelled without properly informing those waiting, leaving them stranded at the airport without a satisfactory response.
The incident has once again raised concerns about passenger communication and assistance during flight cancellations, particularly when travellers are left waiting for several hours without clear information.
