Jetstar Launches Brisbane–Rarotonga Flights.

Jetstar Airways has officially launched new nonstop flights connecting Brisbane and Avarua, expanding travel options between Australia and the South Pacific. The new international route strengthens connectivity to the popular island destination of Rarotonga.

The airline is operating the service three times weekly on Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays using Airbus A321 and Airbus A320 aircraft. The new route is expected to boost tourism and provide more convenient travel opportunities for passengers heading to the Cook Islands.

According to the published schedule, flight JQ105 departs Brisbane at 10:20 p.m. and arrives in Rarotonga at 7:45 a.m. local time after a flight duration of approximately 5 hours and 25 minutes. The return service, flight JQ104, departs Rarotonga at 9:10 a.m. and arrives in Brisbane at 12:10 p.m. the following day, with a total flight time of around 7 hours.

The launch marks another expansion of Jetstar’s international leisure network as the carrier continues increasing services to key holiday destinations across the Pacific region.
