KLM Celebrates 107 Years With New A350 Arrival

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines is celebrating its 107th anniversary today, marking more than a century of continuous airline operations.

KLM was founded in the Netherlands on 7 October 1919 as Koninklijke Luchtvaart Maatschappij. The airline operated its first commercial flight on 17 May 1920, connecting London and Amsterdam.

To mark the milestone, KLM is celebrating with the arrival of its first Airbus A350-900, representing another step in the airline’s fleet modernization programme.

The anniversary celebrations also include the unveiling of a new Delft Blue house, continuing KLM’s long-standing tradition of presenting miniature Dutch houses to mark special occasions.
